EnerVenue to supply 25 MWh of metal-hydrogen battery systems for Florida project

Hydrogen battery manufacturer EnerVenue has signed a 25 MWh supply order with Florida consulting and EPC firm High Caliber Energy. EnerVenue’s large order of Energy Storage Vessels (ESVs) will be delivered to a High Caliber customer installing a large energy storage project in Florida. The batteries should be delivered by Q4 2024.
“When you compare the stats on an array of sustainable energy storage technologies, EnerVenue jumps off the page in terms of their operational efficiency, reliability, flexibility and cost-effectiveness,” said Matt Davis, managing partner of High Caliber Energy. “We are proud to partner with EnerVenue and look forward to using ESVs to meet our client’s expanding clean energy initiatives in Florida.”
Energy storage vessels are the second generation of EnerVenue’s metal-hydrogen battery technology, offering long life, high efficiency and flexibility through a highly configurable and scalable product architecture. ESVs have an expected life of 30 years/30,000 cycles, provide 86% capacity after 30,000 cycles, and can cycle up to three times a day without rest.
“We are excited to bring our energy storage vessel technology to Florida through our partnership with High Caliber Energy,” said Randall Selesky, EnerVenue’s Chief Revenue Officer. “High Caliber Energy has earned its reputation as a trusted, strategic advisor to energy providers and utilities. They are entrusted with optimizing storage designs that must meet stringent requirements, and EnerVenue does this by delivering high efficiency while achieving low cost of energy storage.”
