Solar inverter maker FIMER acquired for relaunch post-bankruptcy
After filing for bankruptcy in 2022, inverter manufacturer FIMER has now been acquired by Clementy Group for a “rescue and relaunch”. The case is still subject to the decision of the Milan court.
FIMER states that the acquisition will provide the company with the necessary financial resources to pursue its activities, satisfy creditors, employ staff and restart operations.
FIMER had previously acquired ABB’s solar inverter business in March 2020, just as the global pandemic was unfolding.
